The Kiet Ngong Visitor Information Centre is located at the entrance to Kiet Ngong Village. This is where you can book tours, homestays and guesthouse accommodation directly with the village. The villagers do not speak much English, but there are posters written in English and Lao to help you communicate with them. There are thirty-six villagers who take turns working at the visitor centre, sharing work and benefits.
Restaurant
There is a restaurant located at the information centre that has soft drinks, Lao food such sticky rice and grilled fish, noodle soup and other local dishes. The restaurant is managed by a family from the village.
Souvenirs
Souvenirs of Xe Pian NPA and Kiet Ngong Village are sold at the visitor restaurant and the Kingfisher Ecolodge. Souvenirs available area:
